After studying environmental sciences I discovered my passion for abstract painting.
To better explore this expression mode I then studied at Brittany School of Art in 2013.
My artistic approach has its roots in a personal exploration of impermanence and imperfection theme. Through painting I explore this theme with a special concern for aesthetic of imperfect, ephemeral and modest objects. My work aims to express sobriety, roughness, quietness of refined abstract painted forms.
While I use a variety of materials and processes in each artwork my methodology is consistent with this main approach. I generally use acrylics and spontaneous marks are often utilized elements in my work. During processes of painting the main theme is explored with abstracts forms, background and their interactions.
Painting is for me a very stimulating activity. First it is a concrete material expression of my spiritual exploration. This practice also feeds my reflections during the process of painting itself but also when the painting is finished. Finally, my artworks prompt the viewer to ask himself about impermanence and fragility of life.
